Here in Northern Montana, beneath vast skies and across open landscapes, our family has established Meadowvale Farmstead & Creamery, a small diversified regenerative farm with a big heart for the place we call home.
Our journey began with a simple commitment to leave the world better than we found it, using the age-old wisdom of nature to guide our practices, to do right by the land that's been so generous to us. Our journey is about learning, growing, and making a modest contribution to healing the soil beneath our feet.
We believe that the health of our soil, our animals, and our community are inextricably linked. Our regenerative approach goes beyond traditional farming; it's about creating a cycle of life where every element, from the grass underfoot to the cattle we raise, works in harmony. By mimicking natural processes, we've transformed degraded pastures into vibrant ecosystems. Our cattle graze on rich, diverse pastures, enhancing the soil's vitality, contributing to a cycle where the soil gets richer, and the air cleaner, one grazing step at a time.
Our raw milk micro-dairy is a labor of love, where we strive for simplicity and purity. Our herd of heritage Normande milk cows are kept on pasture, ensuring a continuation of the traditional management practices and natural hardiness that have kept the milk bottles and cheese caves of France brimming with some of the world's most delicious dairy products. Each drop of milk we receive is a gift from the land, and the ancient dairy heritage of our wonderful cows.
Similarly, the meat we offer is a reflection of our commitment to care and conscious management. Our animals live lives of dignity, free from the confines of industrial farming, grazing on lands that are cared for with the utmost respect. This not only results in meat that is richer in nutrients and flavor, but also supports a cycle where the land, the animals, and our community thrive together. Every meal you share from our farm is nourishment for both body and spirit.
We're just a small family farm, trying to make a difference in our little corner of the world. We welcome anyone who wants to learn with us, see what we do, or simply enjoy what we produce. For us, the best parts of this journey are the opportunities to connect with our community, share what we've learned, and share the quiet joy of seeing the land thrive.
Every food dollar you spend with us is a vote for agriculture as a force of good in the world, and a vote for the health and sovereignty of this wonderful community we call home. We are deeply grateful for your support on this journey. We couldn't do any of it without you!
